Darling is a boutique design studio with a fresh, friendly approach to branding & creative direction for family, food & lifestyle businesses.

One Potato is a healthy meal kit delivery service for families. I provided art direction, branding, and web design to the new business. The red pot and turquoise type are cheery, friendly, and a little bit retro, giving a nod to days where families gathered around the table for a meal.
June & January (formerly Little Hip Squeaks) is a delightful children’s line of clothing and accessories. Owner Amy wanted a playful but sophisticated logo and website. The result? A darling hand drawn logo and monogram, geometric icons, and a merrymaking color palette. The new e-commerce site paid for itself on the day it launched, and within weeks the company had tripled its wholesale orders.
Petit Collage is, hands down, one of my favorite kid brands. Their products offer pitch perfect design with a wonderful mission, and founder Lorena Siminovich is an inspiring and creative biz owner to boot. I got to redesign their site, and the project was an instant fave.
The Sweet Tooth is a one-stop shop for childhood favorites and imported treats. I designed the vintage-inspired branding, packaging and website for the online candy store. The branding features a hand-drawn tooth mascot waving a lollipop in the air, with illustrations and patterns to match.
File this one under: Why I Love My Job. It was such a pleasure to design Emily McDowell's new website. I'm a huge fan of Emily's work, and it was an honor to give it a place to shine. The site is jam packed with features, along with a healthy dose of fun and humor.
Start Creative makes products to spark creativity. I designed modern and playful branding for Start Creative, as well as their debut product: Doodle Books. I also designed a user-friendly Shopify e-commerce site to match.
Mockingbird is a brick-and-mortar boutique in Charleston, Massachusetts, catering to moms with urban lifestyles and small spaces. The high-end shop sells both maternity and baby products, so I created an identity that’s sweet, sophisticated, and a little bit quirky. The primary mark is handlettered and handdrawn. The accompanying pattern and graphics were also done by hand.

lovis is a high-end online children’s boutique in Australia. The branding I designed features sweet illustrations and colors inspired by local foliage. Small square letterpress business cards, designed by myself and printed by Presshaus LA, make a big first impression. And the e-commerce website, which is sophisticated yet friendly, make it a breeze to shop.
Mapamundi Kids is a kids lifestyle store based in San Francisco. The challenge was to design a minimal but playful e-commerce site for the brick-and-mortar shop. Pops of color and illustration pepper the wide open site, making it easy for customers to enjoy the beautifully curated collection.
Bonnie Juma's botanical face and bodycare line was growing up. Formerly BJ Naturals, the company needed a new name. Once Bonnie landed on MAFU (a playful name that means "made for you"), it was time for branding her line. The logo is apothecary inspired but decidedly warm and modern. The packaging and marketing materials follow suit. The website is in progress now.

Wind & Rye Kitchen

Wind & Rye Kitchen is a Sonoma based space that celebrates food through beautiful wedding cakes, community learning and farm to table dining experiences. The branding and website I designed is both feminine and rustic, modern and friendly.
Sycamore Street Press is more than just a stationer. Founders Eva and Kirk Jorgensen are taste makers, community builders, and curators of all things beautiful. I designed a refined e-commerce site that showcases their gorgeous products and wonderful projects.
Spin Eyewear creates expressive children's glasses that reflect each wearer’s unique personality. The modern and colorful mark I created features round specs with pinwheel lenses. The hand-drawn lines, bold color palette, and friendly type drive the message home.

Jordan Ferney of the popular Oh Happy Day blog had a bright idea: To bring European style cotton string lights stateside. I designed an easy-on-the-eyes and fun-to-use e-commerce website for Bright Lab. The site has some cool features, like a drag-and-drop tool to pick your own colors.
What Leo Loves is a baby brand based in Germany that fills a void for sweet, modern goods. I designed the branding that features a family of critters in a colorful world. The illustrations adorn an assortment of products, from bath towels to bedding, decor to accessories.
Pango products are all about cute, and they wanted a site that was just as playful and colorful. The Shopify shop has pops of color and a few fun animated details, but neither sacrifices the site's usability.
Fat Mum Slim is a fun and inspiring lifestyle blog run by Australian mum Chantelle Ellem. After several years online, the blog's branding and website were ready for an overhaul. I designed a pretty but edgy new logo with a polished blog to match. Lindsay worked her coding magic.
